Where was this case found? It doesn't appear on LVMPD's public list of open cases. 121 S. Highland Ave in 1972 - today's 121 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd - was not 1:05 "a working class neighborhood of single family homes," it was a business district. That building was the Las Vegas Sun newspaper.

Hi Vintage, Yes, the AI can make mistakes. The body was reportedly found "just east" and that can be subjective. The case is in NamUs. From the government site: "On 4/24/72, the decedent was found by railroad workers in open desert area just east of 121 S. Highland Avenue. It is possible that the decedent was homeless." NamUs #UP395 It appears you have a great love for the area and we'd love to get it solved.

I was thinking Jimmy Hoffa but he disappeared in 1975… so that knocks him out lol

An easier way to get the word out on the cases. The point of the podcast is to highlight the cases: THE NEED. If you would like more in depth live with me and what I do, please feel free to join me in my Community. And, always happy to have some help with the research and production and what it takes to make the podcast. I appreciate your support to Help The Humans. Have a great day!

@@geneticgenealogymy daughter who has a PhD in Genetics and myself have made 56 matches with the missing and the unidentified. We have never wasted law enforcements' time by being wrong. Doe Network, Map Quest and Google have been our most used tools along with my daughter studying the faces of the missing with the faces or composites of the unidentified.

I wear a womens size 8 which equates to a mens size 6. She is described as rather petite - I would think a mens size seven shoe would be large on her. Unless she has unusually large feet! Express and Hollister are "mall" brand stores. Not high end but trendy and popular with teenagers and younger folks.

Yes, a really interesting combination.

Could those marks on his arms be from IV drug use?

Not sure. Maybe some of our viewers have more experience in that area. We just don't know what has happened at this point with the limited information provided in the "public" portion of NamUs. There is more information "behind the scenes" that law enforcement does have access to and the ME's notes may indicate further that we just are not privy to at this point. In working these cases we can only theorize possibilities and rule out areas that can help us be more focused in the investigation. Thanks for the feedback and your support in getting the word out and helping to get these folks, like this gentleman, identified!

@@geneticgenealogy I spent a hour or so on the database last night after watching your videos! It's absolutely bizarre that the body of a person in the 'infant/toddler/adolescent/teen' age-span can be discovered and not be identified and/or get reported as missing. It's a strange thing, isn't it? I can understand how it can happen in the case of an adult due to living off the grid or homelessness or family estrangement. But for the younger aged cases - it doesn't make sense. It's got to be aggravating especially working with them up close and personal.

Hi Trish, Thank you so much! Your words mean a lot to me which motivates me more :) If there's a case in particular that stands out to you, our Facebook group @unknownhumansremain is the place to discuss more investigative tools and strategy. For lack of a better saying, I call this "adopting" a case. I'm thinking about having a live Q & A for the Unknown Humans. Please let me know if you'd be interested. Have a great day!
