Just started my attempts at all this. Was using acrylic paints on vehicle n junk but switched to krylon spray paint for base. Plan to add to it with acrylic paints for details and pattern. U made those guns? Cool...i c u like grenade launchers...me too! Haha

Nice review. I have the Funskool version. It was sealed mint in the box, but the random figure was long gone, snatched away from its previous owners. The paper stickers still worked and I applied most of them. I like the radio and missile control seat, it's a nice touch of "realism". I used to have it on my display cabinet with my Threadmark (Skidmark version for the GIJoe Collector's Club exclusive figure subscription) on the driver seat and some of the desert themed Rise of Cobra joe figures (like Dial Tone) riding along. I didn't have problems in putting a figure on the machine gun. The modern hands can hold well enough and won't fall easily (well, depends on the figure hands; I wouldn't trust most of the 25th Anniversary figures to hold well or permanently warp in the handle bars).

Nice figure and review. You're right about the head. It looks like Wild Bill and it's intentional. There was an o-ring version of Wild Bill that look like a 1800's US Cavalry trooper/officer. Since nor Hasbro nor GIJCC gave us that version CFT decided to pay homage to the 1992 Wild Bill and score extra bucks from GIJoe collectors by offering that extra head.

Great review!! I have three of the moderns, but not this one. I have the skinny green from the 2009 25th Anniversary box set, the Night Force version (2013) and the Wolf Pack gray version (2015). I'm missing the Tiger Force and the green one from your review. This one should be the perfect Hit & Run, but it's missing one thing that only the Night Force and the Tiger Force has which is the satchel/shoulder bag. The vintage had one, but strangely Hasbro only issued those two versions with the bag.

Just got mines a few days ago. I think I'm gonna do some modifications on it. Like a gun at the top and add a few more guns to it.

Nice review!! Not a favorite of mine due the odd bright colors and being attached to the Eco Warriors subteam GIJCC Exclusive set. The Z+ isn't related to the periodic table, but a variant of Compound Z, the blue stuff that Cobra uses to create it's Zombies. Z+ would be the compound to prevent or destroy zombies. That's the reasoning (says the GIJCC magazine after the Zombie Initiative) for Tiger Force Outback having white hair and beard. He was contaminated by Compound Z and the medics pumped him with the variant Z+ to save him from turning into a zombie. The rpg launcher is a Panzerfaust 3 (German), the carbine is probably a M4 as you said and the rifle is a G36 (also German).
