I guess in the original Japanese market they house legals stuff like the price, release date, and barcode, that the designers don't want cluttering up the product itself, right? But yeah, for stuff like the Mondo book it does feel like they're an affectation pandering to a sense of "exotic cool" in western eyes...

I unfortunately don’t acquire as many CDs as you but, when you open a package and produce something I have recently purchased, or already own, it brightens my day (the Goldsmith Vol 3). It’s always educational though. I must admit I do miss the wall of CDs in that spare room though. Great stuff as always Dave

Another good haul. I somehow wound up with 2 copies of "The Protector"... I've got "Guns For San Sebastian" twice over but that 's the Chapter III release pairs it with "Dark Of The Sun" and then the FSM expansion.

Nah. Didn't really see any point. I've got the CDs. It's not as if there's anything extra on these. If I found one of the old original LP releases for sale somewhere at a reasonable price I might be tempted by THAT for nostalgia's sake... Having said that though, I have got on order a copy of the recent Cowboys vinyl reissue despite owning both CD versions so I know I'm not being consistent/logical 😬 Perhaps I'm just reluctant to send any more money Disney's way...

Fantastic soundtrack score collection! Many of those not available on vinyl record. I am always watching and waiting for those that might be reissued for vinyl. So good they're available on CD.
