I tore a muscle between my sternum and ribcage from wearing my binder too much. It compresses your ribs and it can lead to severe pain and health issues. Please do NOT wear your binder to sleep, or too much at any given time

i just want to say how happy for this story i am. being a closeted trans guy, i can really relate to this. the way you did this story was really realistic and not in your face. i could really understand dereks emotions, like feeling dysphoria and feeling less and less true to myself when i get older. at the scene where he was coming out, i actually started crying. i felt so happy for him and i didn’t even realise i was crying lol. the part where jess didn’t really accept him made me realise how i don’t want toxic people in my life either and nearly made me come out, but then i realised i go to a public school in england sooooo- but yeah, thank you for raising awareness to this. 🥺<3
