I cannot see Blakes Seven been as grand without characters, such as Avon, Vila and the arch-enemy and principal villain Servalan herself who was awesome like Avon and Vila and B7 without these 3 characters would not IMO have been half as good as it was.

It is ashame B7 was ended like it was but the powers that be decided it had run its course

Even now, after 41 years, it’s still hard to watch them all die. I still see myself, the 15-year old watching the disaster unfold and knowing that after the base was destroyed, the Scorpio crew were not going to make it. I’d still follow Blake over Avon but it’d be a close run thing. It still galls me that the Federation won and my heroes all died.
