I was doing a musical theatre class and we did this song. I got the chance to sing Sandy’s part. If I had known who Laura Osnes was and been as obsessed as I am now I would have taken it in a second!! I decided not to do it sadly

I didn't actually see this version until it went on tour with Taylor Hicks as Teen Angel. I wish I could travel back and see Max & Laura play Danny & Sandy! Grease Live is coming up next week on Fox where the torch has been passed down to AAron Tevit and Julian Hough!

I'm confused as to why people are comparing Laura and Olivia. Laura did a live version, while Olivia did the movie. It's like comparing apples and oranges. Performing on stage and screen are two completely different entities...

Laura's come a long way from that little girl from Minnesota, she's now a respected Broadway leading lady who joins a legacy that includes such actresses as Lea Salonga, Sierra Boggess, Sutton Foster, Kelli O'Hara, and so many more to name!

Actually, in the original Broadway production, it's "cry." They changed it in the movie, but because this was an audition for the Broadway production, she chose to sing cry.

deep breath and cry? Its "hold your head HIGH, take a deep breath and SIGH. - There's a "BIG" difference there.

its too fast.it sounds like a petty complaint.. they sound great, but i can't keep up w/ the words and actually ENJOY it when they're lips are going so fast. There's no need to rush through it.

I'm about the biggest Laura Osnes fan, but i do think she and Max sounded a billion times better on the actual "your the one that i want" thing. This isn't very good, however.

nobody...and i mean NOBODY, can be better than ONJ as Sandy. That role will and always be hers. Having said that this is a very good version of Sandy =)

Alvin Khaw she had as many takes as she wanted, Laura did it live every night. There’s a big difference between movies and live theater

@TesseractDigital For the record I'm refering to the "We Go Together" in the begining. You're The One That I Want wasn't in the original show cause it was written for the movie to make it more 70s and less 50s.

@pinksneakergal88 There actually I think the original 1971 cast is better. Just cause they are the ORIGINAL. Everyone knows that the original is always better than the crappy movie remake.
