That's not a true/real Marino Moss Ball then. Naturally they form themselves into a ball as a sub species of algae which is why they're so rare to find/obtain.

There are a lot of fish thst will eat it, that's how I got rid of it and it never came back. I've had the same 3 moss balls for 7 years. I got barbs and they ate the hair algae off my moss balls didn't hurt the marimo balls at all.
