Mini Mario™ will return in New Super Mario Bros. U™ for the Wii U™! He now has a brand new ability: Running up walls! He can still run on water and go through small pipes. However, one hit from an enemy will do Mini Mario™ in.

Shake the Wii Remote to Mario spin-jump. Tilt the Wii Remote to tilt the remote-controlled platforms (returning from New Super Mario Bros. Wii). Up to five players can join, one with the GamePad and four with the Wii Remote controllers.

In addition to the Wii Remote controllers and the GamePad, we are adding Wii U Pro Controllers to this game, alongside the New Super Mario Bros. U update (ver 1.30). Nabbit is replacing Mario in this DLC. Yellow Toad and Blue Toad return as well. Luigi is now the main character.

To play Wii Play: Motion, you will need a Wii Remote Plus controller that has the title "Wii MotionPlus INSIDE" under the Wii title, or a Wii MotionPlus accessory attached to a Wii Remote controller. Up to four players can join.
