Same issue. Mine is only 5 months old. I’ve gone back to my more than 5 year old Sonicare which fired right up after sitting in a drawer for the same 5 months. Unfortunately, Amazon closed my support window in August. Won’t be buying Oral B anything again.

I have cleaned the sensor, but was still not working, so I cleaned the pump and it worked. There was a tiny little piece of lint inside 🙈. Thank you 🙏

i have received the following reply from the service centre team, the battery is not replaceable. Hi Jenny, The battery is spot welded onto the PCU inside the toothbrush and cannot be replaced. The toothbrush is also a sealed unit and cannot be dis-assembled. Regards Michael Brisbane Appliance Service Centre"

Same happend to me after 2,5 years ownership, little less of use. Out of warranty, ill try to replace the battery myself. io9 is too expensive to just replace.

This did not work for me. However I opened my dishwasher and found the salt compartment saturated with grease. After disassembly and cleaning with hot water the i20 error message disappeared.

Not working for me..still same error

I talked to an oral b representative. They said you shouldn't charge the brush for the whole day. For some reason it makes the battery die easily. The recommended time to charge is only for 3 hours. More than the whole day will make the battery defective.

The sensor cleaning helped for mine as well. Goot tip.

How do you open the pump? Is there any screw on the pump itself?

It sucks, but if you want to be on the selfie photo or video, you have to tilt the phone a little, it doesn't know that... So it's not suitable for a selfie stick.
