Bruh they went 99% and gave up on the last most important thing to overtake the Rode Pro … missed opportunity.

Cool. Thoughts on this vs the hollyland Lark 2?
@ImageMatrixTech
@ImageMatrixTech 26 күн бұрын
Sennheiser is essentially pro while the Lark M2 is entry level. The Profile Wireless audio is extremely clean as it should be for the price. I think the Lark is very cool for smartphone work and I'll be doing a video soon on it. But they are very different devices.

does Action 5 , worth upgrading from Action 4 ?
@ImageMatrixTech
@ImageMatrixTech 2 ай бұрын
If you already have the Action 4 I don't see a need to upgrade. There are some very cool features - deal makers for some - but there isn't an overall dramatic image improvement that would demand an upgrade from 4.

Could it handle a 3000 m2 yard? maybe if i split it in 2 zones?
@ImageMatrixTech
@ImageMatrixTech 2 ай бұрын
I reached out to Dreame on this question and this is their response: "For A1, right now it only supports up to 2000m2 space and only one map/zone. For next gen, we will have bigger zone and multi-maps."

@@ImageMatrixTech Poop ... Please tell me net gen will be a software upgrade, and I won't need another unit. I just paid for this one and it hasn't even been delivered yet. the thought it is already redundant is frightful. I live in a small yard, but it will still be three zones, and a solid physical watch when it is out the front all the time. I live in Townsville, this is a non-delightful city to live in due to the high crime level. Animals will smash your car windows just for the dumpers in your ash tray, let alone if they see a packet of cigarettes. To buy this I have already thought to bring the unit in every night. The criminals here are always around, and they don't care if they cannot use or sell the item they stole.

What I'd like to see is extendable side cutters (with soft flexible plastic blades) for dealing with edges - similar to robot vacuums with extending brushes/mops. We're hopefully going to see something like that soon.

Can we innovate that stand a bit as to something with a desk clamp that if fully adjustable(height and rotation) with a minor cable management system of sorts?

What about dog poo?
@ImageMatrixTech
@ImageMatrixTech 3 ай бұрын
Unless you've got a very small dog, it will run straight over it. If I haven't cleaned up my Great Dane dumps it will not avoid it. Actually @7:14 you can see the right wheel carrying a bit of Dane poop. The good thing is you can really pressure hose the hell out of the A1 to clean it on the run or stationary.

Does it work when the internet goes out?
@ImageMatrixTech
@ImageMatrixTech 3 ай бұрын
Yes, it still works. It's something I did not test but Dreame confirmed to me as long as the A1 is successfully paired with the APP via Bluetooth, mapping can be conducted. Once the mapping is complete, you can activate a mowing schedule, and A1 will mow to the set times even without a connection. You can also start tasks directly using the buttons on the robot.

I bought this mower in the beginning of June and it is my first robot mower purchase and I do like this mower a lot. I really haven't had any problems with it getting stuck or any other issues. What sold me on this mower was the LIDAR. I don't know why this isn't used more. Hopefully more mowers will adopt this technology. I would recommend this mower, but like anything these mowers are tools and what might be right for one person's lawn may not be right for another.

Great review thanks. Red flags that put me off instantly: No LiDAR (it wanders around randomly) No Auto-empty Station (at this price point!!!) £1200 (UK) for very basic functionality is daylight robbery. All the above equates to No thank you Dyson.

It still blows my mind how people will crap on good-projector black levels and contrast while using the wrong screens. I get that it's expensive, but a Screen Innovations' Black Diamond screen competes with OLED.

Hey Will, great review! You explained it perfectly. Just two questions, does the display work with Samsung Dex? Also, is it enough to carry to work in my backpack everyday? I need a big monitor for work, and I think this would be a great choice.

Sorry for the delayed response, mate. Yes, it is compatible with DeX across our range, although the 17 Pro is a larger display, so you may need an additional power supply to operate with the Samsung phone. Our 13 and 15-inch displays are less energy intensive and are also a great fit for DeX. Please drop us a line any time if you'd like to chat - [email protected]

I bought this product and tried it. It has 3 major problems. 1) does not go under the seats 2) it doesn't vacuum regularly, it wanders around the room randomly and there is a lot of space left over. 3) It works with incredible sound and vibration, I claim you will be shocked. I realized the value of my old cheap roidmi robot vacuum cleaner and continue with it.

Look at the manual! You need 50 centimeters to the left and to the right free! But you dont! No navigation issue, you have placed the station to a wrong place!

All my robot vacuums - into the dozens now - can find their way back in similar spots without hesitation. They all build this buffer as a suggestion but it’s not always practical. Dyson’s navigation is simply not good enough, especially when compared with top robot brands.

Thanks for the review. I'm wondering how the Goat G1 that rely on cameras and AI would react in a zone of grass invaded with bamboo shoots (sadly, my own case). Would it mown it or would it consider this as an obstacle?
@ImageMatrixTech
@ImageMatrixTech 8 ай бұрын
Thank you, note this video is just a teaser, full review coming this weekend. I'm pretty sure it will see it as an obstacle so I would suggest either manually mowing it with the GOAT or other cutter to get it low. Once it's around the height of the other grass it will continue to keep in it under control. I have bamboo in another section of the yard but now that you've asked, I will demo this question in the review. Keep and eye out this weekend. Cheers.

So if we compare this to say the upcoming roborock s8 maxv ultra it would be better than dyson's visnav in every aspect on a technical level except maybe airfiltration for instance the visnav has its motor rated at 65 Airwatts which translates into 3.3kPa where as roborock claims the s8 maxv has a 10kPa motor with a larger battery it also uses the more tried and tested lidar navigation approach instead of the vslam based navigation and thats not going into the fact that the s8 maxv comes with one of the most automonomous robo vacumn docks to date or the fact the s8 maxv mops with a unique approach to agitation and to it top off it costs $200 LESS (100 if using the plumbed version) than the visnav assuming roborock is true to their claims and its a reliable product this comparison is nothing short of night and day unless you're a hard-core dyson fan with money to spend

It's nice, but it's not bright enough. My Panasonic 1080p laser projector puts out 3500 lumens, and on Projector Central it's 59 FL on my 135" Silver Ticket Grey Screen, while the Epson LS12000 is only 28 FL on the same screen. That's like half as bright, and tbh, I wish my screen was brighter now as it is, lol.
