Aw, my dad bought one of these for me (FOR HIM) when I was just turning 16. It was ridiculous and embarrassing to drive but it was a lovely car all the same, and I would drive it now (for a few days anyway).

It's nice to see your comment here. May I ask you please what was it you found embarrassing about the car? I wondered if it is due to the fact the appearance package is certainly very eye catching. I have owned a 1977 Sky Bird since 2001, I love it very much and additionally have felt a little conspicuous at times with such a noticeable vehicle. My one started life with the Pontiac 301 but the engine was butchered. A Pontiac 400 was available for me so I felt it was a reasonable installation for my Firebird. A bit like a 1974 Esprit. 🕊️

I understand your sentiment and agree with it. At the same time most of those changes were not done by this guy as he said in the video. So... I am sad for that which was original and no longer there but extremely happy for what still remains. Maybe thats partly because I'm no longer what I was in 1939 - the year I was born.

I still own a 1964 Pontiac Catalina convertible that I purchased in 1977. It has the 421 emblems, 2+2 emblems, it came with 4 speed and bucket seats. It has been sitting covered in outside storage since 1980, 40 years. It still has solid fenders, trunk lid, hood, and I have many extra parts for 1964 Pontiacs scavenged from boneyards over the years. The car is in Minnesota currently slowly returning to mother earth. I have virtually no online footprint, so if this piques your interest leave a message here on this KZbin video. If I see by your reply that you are interested we can talk further.

The first brush looked like a showcard chisel quill #6 the second one is longer so I'm guessing a #6 chisel quill writer both sable or a sable mix on the first one 😀 correct me if I'm wrong.

Wow!!! I knew Ellis back in the early 1980’s when he started to date Penny. Now to see his son take on the family business like this makes me feel great! Ellis didn’t have blood in his veins, he had motor oil. Loved cars and the occasional party. Lol To see how his son is doing is amazing. Hope this young man has the success and peace he’s looking for.

Either it's a 69 or a 70 with 69 grill corner lights, tail lights and rear bumper. Maybe a 69 titled in 70 also but it's definitely not a 70. 500 cid only came in the Eldorado for 69 and 70

This is The Real # 1 Car......Built by Dick Dean ( The Ghost Builder)...... Its been Repainted But they Tried to Keep it as Original as Possible.....if You Look at The Header Exhaust Tubes...they are the Originals... Bent and Dinged Up !..... This Is the Real Deal the car that was left in Puerto Rico.... Much Cooler then the # 2 Car which has been Totally Restored and Changed.....

Hi , Vinny here , I got to meet Big Daddy in person before he passed from this wonderful world while I was working in Daytona picking up bodies for a local funeral home . I was fresh back from Nam and he told me how proud he was of me for serving my country like I had done . I'm crying right now just like back then when he told me this . Nobody had ever thanked me like this before ! I love you Big Daddy and I'll never forget you ! Vinny .
