Speaking of tables, I bring my own folding tables to all my events. If they have a table already set up with linen on it, I will take what they have already in place as long as it's a 5' or 6' table. I won't do an 8' as they look too long for today's standards. I bring a 5' long table top facade with me to most events as well as a smaller 48" one for my 4' ceremony table that I use. I would love to bring an actual "DJ Table" with me like the Rockville DJ Table. The big draw back to these DJ Tables is they do not fold in half and they are too long for me to fit in my Traverse. They are also pretty heavy. My folding tables both weigh less than 25 lbs. Those DJ Tables are like 60+ lbs. I really wish they would make a thinner, foldable DJ Table for us. I would buy one to use and take advantage of a little taller table, but regular tables work just fine for me.
@logisticalstyles10 күн бұрын
Yeah, sometimes the folding table is all you need. I have a DJ booth but sometimes it's just not worth the hassle to bring it out. If the client provides a table I usually just use what they have since it's most likely decorated to match the rest of the room.

Great review my friend. Been using this mixer now for the last four or five months or so and really like the effects such as the reverb etc. I was hoping though, it would have had a tap delay as I sometimes like to use that when I had a mixer that offered that from my vocals, but I don't think this mixer does. Do you know if there's some sort of plug-in I could install to this mixer to have tap delay or what I could do / use for a workaround if ever wanted ? Again appreciate this review.
@logisticalstyles21 күн бұрын
Thanks, I think you would have to add an external effects unit in order to add any effects and use the send and returns on the mixer to apply the effects.

Do you ever run two cables from your output on the mixer to the inputs on the speaker to get both the right and left channels or does the mixer automatically combine the right and the left into a single mono out.

I have a pair of the Harbinger MLS1000s, and a single MLS900 system. The MLS900 system is fine for ceremony or cocktail hour. The MLS1000s really stand out for parties and weddings though! The 10" subs in this system is amazing for a 10" and exceeded my expectations. I heard the S12 at the Guitar Center last year, and it is impressive for the price, and size that it is.

I just ordered the 2 pack version for a mere $55 on Amazon. I have the same one you have, and I can verify that this is an exceptional microphone. It sounds phenomenal. I have to keep the gain down pretty low though, because it is so loud. It's also very convenient as compared to other mics that have a separate transmitter box that needs electric power. Also, everyone keeps saying you need to have the antenna facing in the up position. Yes, it probably would have better range,but being within 30 ft or so, it's definitely not necessary. Mine works fine in the horizontal position. I highly recommend this budget microphone. Thanks for the video.
@logisticalstyles28 күн бұрын
Thanks! I'm glad this was helpful. You are correct they will work with the antenna in other positions. Straight up is best but not necessary. I've had some online DJs laugh at me when I recommend this mic. I know from experience that it works well and it comes in very handy for when you don't have room or electricity for a big wireless receiver.

Just seeing your video now. I'm sure you've made numerous changes since this video. However, i wanted to inform you how to correct the issue with led lighting. Your problem, when this video was made, is that your stand is black. Dark colors absorb light while light colors reflect light. If your stand was all white, those led strip lighting would have shined bright like a diamond.
