Sad reality is it was probably to try to control population but now we have a global aging population. In the 60's birth-rate was 5:1 women, now it's 1.44:1. Many women try for children in their 30's but past 35 and especially at 40 there is a 5% chance on conception without assistance. Women were lied to, to get them into the workforce. It has devalued currency so now you have no choice but both men and women have to work and especially in the uk where 50% of the population is in gainful employment, propping up the rest. 30-40% will be in gainful employment by the time we retire. The entire economy will collapse.

Yes, brilliantly stated. I have no problem living a life that others find boring because boring things make me happy, like taking walks, going to art shows or museums or garage sales or the library, and cleaning my house. My priority is my time for creative hobbies like journaling and writing letters, which is fulfilling to me. I want health and wellness and contentment, not more money. I live well with my simple remote job and don’t need more. And like you , I also feel like I need a vacation after taking a vacation, if I fly somewhere or travel far. I’d rather have a staycation any time, with my books and journals, and quiet time for meditation.

Being rich is a dead end instead of the " hope ". With all the money you die the same. Rather , gather enough resources, and live a positive life for oneself and others. That's much more meaningful. competitiveness doesnt always mean better.

I moved to AZ from CA just over two years ago with my wife and daughter. It is much less crowded here and we are two miles from the Colorado River. It's a much better quality of life and pretty much everyone else here left the wonderful state of authoritarian rule as well. I think you did a great job on the vid and I agree that AZ is waaaaayyyyyy more appropriate for raising a family and enjoying a much more laid-back life experience.
