The Toyota GRO10 has no chance to come even close to 5:19,5. But the Toyota TS050 Hybrid could be very fast without restrictions. This car competed with the Porsche 919 Hybrid and was the faster car in 2017. It had, regardless of the electric power, a 2.4 l twin turbo engine, the Porsche 919 Hybrid a rather small 2.0 l single turbo engine. Most likely the open TSO50 could be more powerful than the 919 Evo. But there is more than 1 200 or more horsepower. Porsche had Timo Bernhard who was the guy with the guts for this incredible lap on the Nordschleife. I wonder whether Toyota could find a driver of these skills and experiences Timo showed during the 319 seconds.
