Just come back from our second consecutive year at Ruka. Perfect resort for those who like blues and reds. The new Masto chair lift really opens up that side of the resort. Love Finland so might be tempted to try one of the other resorts at some point, but 20 mins from the airport is just so easy

at no point did this video ever show how the machine actually grooms the snow to make corduroy just bouncing arond from image to image .. and all with crappy music ... worthless ...

Wow! What an incredible video. I was at Squaw Valley on the fourth of July one year and I believe there were three lifts spinning. Over an hour lift line at each. I paid over $100 to make one run. What a waste.

Everything else is good but slopes dont compete biggest resorst in Finland. Hill is way too small. For beginner and familyes it is great. There are much more bigger resorts in Finland. Like Yllas, Levi and Pyha.

As a lift operator at a local ski area, I don't appreciate any of the stunts that involve hanging on a chair or jumping off the chair; not only are the idiots themselves at risk of injury, they are putting all the passengers riding the lift at risk also. It's all fun and games until...
