@@amberjones1615 no not yet, I called but they want it to be after AF comes and for this cycle the doctor who does it happens to not be available😐 so now I have to call back once I'm on my period next month and they'll schedule it from there.

I got a very faint positive test yesterday at 15dpo. I had a chemical pregnancy 4 months ago and I'm pretty scared this is the same thing. The lines are extremely light and I got the positive 5 days later than with my successful pregnancy and my chemical. I don't know how to feel about that.

@@Shanty400 Hard to know with just one test. Not sure what that could mean, it can be anything, only way to know is if you take another test and they still continue to be positive.

@@catlove111 yes, I had a tubal ligation in 2013 followed by getting pregnant in 2019 and then again in 2022 but they ended in miscarriages

I was not, and I no longer take these tests because they always give me a faint blue line no matter the month. I've found the clear blue pink or blue dye tests give me the most accurate results😊

Getting a HSG is definitely something that should be done when you have had a failed tubal ligation to check and see if 1 or both tubes are actually open and functioning properly there could just be a small hole which can allow a pregnancy I had a failed tubal ligation which I got pregnant from it ended with a loss but that lead to me getting a tubal reversal because I had also something called Post-tubal ligation syndrome (PTLS) where I had terrible abdominal pain and hormonal issues cysts and much more I had the reversal and 2 months later I began to feel human again I also have been able to have 3 beautiful babies over the past 4 years also please keep on the drs and get the testing you deserve you could totally end up with an ectopic pregnancy if the tube isn’t all the way open and that is very dangerous

Would Insurance cover a reversal if it's for those reasons or did you have to pay? I feel like they'd consider it a fertility treatment and insurance wouldn't cover it in that case.

No, that's just the extra dye that collects there after the test has developed. If I opened these pink ones it has the same thing🙂

Yes her reaction was completely not what I was expecting, I've had two doctors already tell me I should get this test done and when I finally meet the doctor that can perform it she acts like its something so bizzare to want😅

I’m so glad you continued to advocate for yourself! The HSG is a totally reasonable request after a failed tubal ligation. I am sorry that she was treating you that way. She apparently has some bias that she is holding which is unfair. And yes day 21 for the progesterone. And usually they do a full panel to check estradiol, progesterone, AMH and sometimes lH. Maybe something to try for in the future if she doesn’t give you too much pushback. And maybe an ultrasound to check the uterus to make sure they are no fibroids etc. causing spotting or hormonal shifts. If you would like that done. I wish you so much luck when you do get the HSG done. I had mine done for the same reason and one tube was completely open the other blocked.

You know it! The only reason I'm seeing this one is because they didn't offer hsg at the family planning doctor I saw in May. But I think after getting my answers I can continue going to the family planning doctor for checkups and follow ups and even prenatal care if or when we conceive again. Idk why there's even an obgyn at the hospital, you have to walk through all sorts of departments and sick people to even get to the floor🤢

@facingthewaves6018 We have a "health park" in our small hospital, where specialists come in from the bigger hospitals and bigger areas and use offices in the health park... maybe it's something like that? They do have some full-time docs up there, but 🤷♀️

@@jacquief8635 maybe it's something like that, it said physicians offices at the entrance so I thought it was separate but once inside everything was all connected and people walking in with emergencies used the same entrance that I did. It was weird, but I haven't had to visit any hospitals since moving to Maine so everything is very different.

I also had a tubal ligation.And I will let you know that they probably did not tie your tubes that tight and you losing.The baby has nothing to do with your tubaligation.Because the sperm met the egg so you still can get pregnant and keep the baby

I chose the tubal ligation where the Dr cuts the tubes and burns the ends.. however I've heard that your body can actually grow a new canal or maybe the original surgery didn't heal properly and somehow the ends of one tube ended up healing stuck together again. Hopefully we can find out soon with the hsg test that checks if the tubes are blocked or not

Not sure, sometimes this happens and then my period arrives like normal. But I've also spotted before finding out I was pregnant. I plan on testing again in a couple more days if I end up being late

The topical cream they sell over the counter is very very low dose and supposedly the skin doesn't absorb everything either. If you take prescription progesterone from your Dr I'd suggest continuing that. That's what I'm hoping my doctor gives me if I conceive again, either the pills or the one that gets inserted vaginally because those are much more effective I would think

Sorry is 2yrs late came across your channel and it happened to me too.. I was ttc 2yrs ago and I got a false positive or evap line idk what happened but I got so excited I cried. To find out with clear blue digital was negative. I took 7 more a mixture of clear blues and easy@home amazon strips all to be negatives. I was confused cause first response was positive. I went for blood work and they said I was not pregnant to cry again of disappointment I got excited for nothing and first response I will never trust again. I'm glad you call them out because what their doing is messed up. Messing with womans emotionally & mentally. I too won't be using this brand again.

I'm sorry that happened😟 and they've gotten worse, I watch some other channels and month after months people are constantly thinking they see something and end up not pregnant. My favorite test so far has been premom strips or clear blue red dye and even blue dye seem to give me very accurate results, they're just more expensive

If you have low progesterone it could help. If I don't use progesterone cream I can start spotting as soon as 9dpo all the way till I finally get my period at 14-15 dpo. However the progesterone cream has not stopped a miscarriage in my case😔 it's very low dose so prescription progesterone would probably be best if your case is indeed low progesterone. I look on Amazon and choose one from there, any, I've tried almost all the brands and haven't found any specific ones I like more. You start using it after ovulation and then stop around 11-12dpo if you're not pregnant. If you are pregnant they say to continue using it till you get your doctor appointment and then see what the doctor recommends moving forward.

Amen I agree! I don't obsess myself anymore, i just test for my own safety because I'm at risk for an ectopic pregnancy due to a failed tubal ligation. But I know 100% if it's meant for us to have another there's a reason our tubal surgery failed,❤️❤️

It sounds like you are trying to conceive, so why not have a tubal reversal that way your chances are higher to conceive?

@@jess83ful because we already have our boy+girl & prior to the tubal ligation failing we were sure we didn't want any more kids. Now if it were to happen through a miracle we'd be super excited & thankful for another addition but it's not something I am desperate for. We are settling into a new state, starting a farm, re establishing our small business etc. lots going on! If a baby comes we will accept the blessing but I wouldn't go out of my way to get a reversal at this time, it just wouldn't make sense for us atleast.

I wouldn't say "trying" but my first loss was around 2018 ,that's when we found out I could get pregnant even though my tubes are supposed to be tied. Haven't been trying the whole time since then but haven't been preventing either. Have had two losses after my tubal ligation.

My tubes are also tied. And let me tell you you know why you can get pregnant with your tube style. Because the Doctor did not tie them all the way. There is a hole there and God was not ready for you to have not another baby. He wanted you to have more but you know, you could always get better off. If not trying to be funny, but try to get. You know where they go and put the egg inside your stomach with the sperm.I don't know what they call that and veered.And f

@@catlove111 ivf? It's too expensive for us, I do think I must have a hole or something somehow revealed itself in my tubes. It's happened to a lot of people😁 or maybe my doctor purposely didn't do the surgery correctly 😆 I was only 21 when I got it done, you never know🤷♀️

Oh man🤭 I think the earliest I ever tested was 6dpo once but realized how silly it was to even expect to see anything that fast. It will be fun to know early when you do catch that first faint line though!

The only way it can happen is if your tubes grow back together or if something didnt heal correctly when you first got the surgery. Or if you could afford it there's always IVF. Wish you the best! If its meant to be it'll happen,❤️

I believe the clear blue is a tad bit more sensitive then the 1st response since they changed it to the dark pink lid I didn’t get a positive until 10 dpo on both so I am not sure there is much of a difference

How did you know I had my tubes tied? Just wondering cause it wasnt mentioned in this video😁 so I started the channel recording my pregnancy tests because I got pregnant and had a miscarriage after my tubal ligation. It's happened twice now actually. I have a playlist saved on my page from the most recent time it happened. The reason is unknown but since we have a chance and since I'm at a higher risk for an ectopic I test every month just in case.

@@jamieandfamily729 not necessarily, we don't know if our other losses were ectopic because they happened before anything was visible on ultrasound. Many women have surprisingly went on to have regular,full term pregnancies after a tubal ligation. Especially the younger you are when you got your tubes tied, your tubes heal back closed or grow a new canal. Super weird but it has happened to many🙈 I don't know which of my tubes are open and which may still be closed from the surgery,but we know something must have opened back up at some point

It had some color but I thought it was a evap or gray line but the next day it was a solid pink line
