I’m a black belt got caught with this by a purple belt today. Have not had to defend this choke in years. I put my hands on his hip and throat push up that would usually break it free but he’s really really good at this joke. I needed to stick my knee in the center. Oh well 🤷♂️ Hate wearing a black belt you always have to win wish there were no belts

The Dis-Gracie’s are just a bunch of thugs. Trained thugs. This is a great Judo demonstration but the Dis-Gracie’s had to get an armed mob to assault the catch wrestler Ruffino Do Santo and his students after he defeated Carlos Gracie. If they didn’t get their gang on him and assault home with weapons and end his career everyone would be training and watching catch wrestling instead of Brazilian Judo. The Dis-Gracie’s stole judo and tried to claim it as their creation. They are the used car salesmen of martial arts.

I generally love your stuff...but you are forgetting your basics.....You close off his kicking side. If his right leg is forward (as in the video) you block or kick his knee with your left leg (so that my "shield" , free arm and side are facing his back or kicking leg). If i do it the other way, with my hand on the ground and my open face on the same side as his power kicking leg...well...as one of the Gracies told me "He gona smasha your face"...lol
