You basically have the important stuff. Lifts and tires. If I were to start over, I wouldn’t get an open bed rack, I’ll get something like a smartcap. With that, enjoy your overland build process.

With a 2 inch lift it doesn’t rub, but I did cut the front & rear wheel frame. I didn’t have to but I plan on going 37’s.

Good looking truck you got there!! I also went the full sized truck route. Got '22 F-150 XLT. Still fairly stock but yeah my biggest reason for going full sized was the cab room and the fact that in order to get to a lot for good trails involves hours of driving and the full size truck is just so much more comfortable to ride in.
@Rventureland11 күн бұрын
Thats the same reason I got a full size truck. My thought is when I’m going on a trip, I want to make sure my family and I are comfortable. What have you done to your truck? And what route are you going to take on your build more for off road or overland?
@Nate-zy5ce11 күн бұрын
Very nice! I wonder, have you considered say an RSI Smartcap over the bed instead of that open cage? You can mount the RTT and other stuff on top just as well since it can carry a heavy load but then everything can be stored safe and dry inside. If you have, why did you choose what you did instead? Thanks. I'm looking at going the F150 route too, though I need to look into your comment about having to drill into the cab to mount the rack, maybe that has or will be changed, I hope.
@Rventureland11 күн бұрын
Yes if I could start my build all over again, I would get an RSI Smartcap. To be honest, I got the CBIOffroad rack because of the looks and the review was good. With drilling, it wasnt too bad but I wish it was already pre drilled to make the installation easier. With that said, thank you for watching and hopefully you get your F150 soon. 🙏

You have a straw but no means to collect and contain water. If you also carry a straw, it means that you have a long walk to your house, but you have no rain gear or a poncho. I would remove the CPR mask. If you shoot someone, then that person is dead and revival is almost null.

@@Rventureland Gotta be honest, I went with an inexpensive pack from Wal[Commie]mart. I'm experimenting with hiking (training) right now, figuring out what works-- i.e. boots, pack, hydration, etc. If you've got the extra dough to spare, I highly recommend going with good equipment, but in doing so, you may STILL need to replace it, costing you even more. Hope that makes sense
@pb71333 ай бұрын
I try not to get anything too flashy. Osprey makes some good ones with natural colors. I also have an old north face that’s faded and a dull color. 10 years later and still comfortable and works great. I put away my tactical backpack. Might come in handy one day but not for every day carry.
