This version of Pastel is great compared to the one on Shoot The Moon, which is too drawn out in the middle. Unfortunately this one is a phone recording so Shoot The Moon sounds a helluva lot better. GREAT band though, these guys are talented as fuck!

Mixed... Would I want to see them if they toured as an Op Ivy cover band... YES. What was missing...just like the original recordings... bass. I was fortunate to see Op Ivy many times and this is just too tight. Everyone stays in thier area of performance and make sure your stuff is perfect... not loose. There isn't a way to explain it except op Ivy music still came out no matter how they tried not to play it. This is just too planned to be good...and they are good!

Goddamn, what a performance. Band is tight, mixed well and sharp as a blade and Laura is firing on all cylinders. The energy, vocal strength and sharpness and that passionate aggression coming through the mic. As others said, this is the best these songs have ever sounded.
