If i remember correctly, you got a true combo with a fully charged O flame and an uncharged heavy attack with the flail. Which became really strong if you buff it with the weapon art.

the serpent flail is one of those weapons that make me think fromsoft kind of lives in my walls bc for a long time i felt like the only person talking about flame art flails as being kinda sleeper good, and then they drop the best and coolest one in the DLC

That talisman made a whole new build with the Dueling shield. Since delaying an attack mid-chain gives you block frames, you can reasonably get the final hit off people forgetting that it's a 4 hit chain.

Twinblade talisman can also work with the 2h and powerstanced light greatsword moveset. Certain attacks will skip parts of the R1 chain, enabling you to get to the final hit for the maximum bonus from the talisman really quickly. Chrightt has a video about light greatswords and there's a whole section dedicated to which moves to use to skip to the final hit the fastest.

Double spears always were one of the dirtiest thing in the game. And now it is combined with bleed and spamming attack button..

This talisman is genuinely slept on. Try it with the FKGS with Stamp. Stamp, R1, R1 is a full chain.

You should give a try at dual heavy thrusting swords... Their backstep attack with the right talismans would do insane damage. I don't have the dlc but right off the bat without buffs, I get around 1k dmg for normal hits. With spear talis, it goes up to 1.2k and with the backstep talis, I guess you can imagine how powerful it would be. I used it on a str build and nearly 2 shot people with the backstep attack, but with bleed and buffs, that thing would be horrifying.

It also doubles as a showcase of people not levelling vigor

Probably common knowledge but there is a bunch of attacks on Dual Light Greatswords which allow you to directly transítion to the last L1. R2, Running (1H) R1, Crouching/Rolling L1, Jumping (1H) R2 and Jumping L1. (Rellana's swords work somewhat differently)

This only works when your opponent doesn't expect you to just keep mashing, and that is,.. actually,.. a lot more people than you would think....

And here I was thinking about returning to Elden ring pvp. I think I'll wait a few more months.
