i just think it is so funny while yes i cry every god damn time i see him take off that Hat and it is a tragic story BUT YET NOONE TALKS ABOUT THE AMOUNT OF PPL CLIVE DID KILL WITH HIS MACHINE. like he ripped a big chunk of London into the depths and then just stomps like 10 huge buildings with one single stomp and the machine does go on for a while like it is crazy how it's just a "yup these things happen from time to time aint nothing we can do...!"

Even though I really like this game, it's far from perfect, but one thing that, IMHO it's absolutelly perfect is Don Paolo's character arc, my man is just straight up the mvp of this game (going from a goofy, mustache-twirling villian, to a simpatetic and very human rival and ally, and I just can't get enough of his tragically humurous backstory, that moment actually made me laugh out loud 15:30; it really is something that feels right at home on a Layton game), and I'd even argue that, alongside Layton's "journey", is by far my favourite aspect of this game.

I have to say that the German Clive sounds a lot more intimidating and insane than the English one

Something I realized about this game in particular is how they showed Layton to be a little more out of character than before. Not knowing how much Claire impacted him to break his normality when he see’s her again and the ending. This game shows Layton at his vulnerability but honestly one of the best of the best ever made. Also I hate how Bill never got his dues for what he did and the damage he’s caused to Clive and everyone around the science field

The ending always brings me to tears. Seeing Professor Layton break down and cry like that then removing his hat. 🥺 The scene where he and Luke say their goodbyes also makes me really sad. I like closure and need it but I also hate when things end.

I remember when I finished Professor layton and the pandora's box. And thought to my self wouldn't it be funny if Don paolo dressed him self as Layton next. You can probably imagine my shock when he actually did it.

*Oh my god, I never noticed that!* When Dimitri finds Claire's body after the explosion, she was wearing her blue Celeste-top! She left her date with Hershel in a dark top but when we see her the next time dead on the ground she is wearing her future clothes. Claire's corpse we see in the middle of the game IS what happened to her _after she returned back to her time at the end of the game!_ 😨

I love the way the game makes you think the title "Lost/unwound Future" is referring to the "future London" the main portion of the plot happens in at the beginning, but then by the end you realize it's referring to the future Claire and Layton could have had, now lost forever.

If Future London was built underground, how did Clive manage to maintain it without causing earthquakes?

So... What happened after this game?

So…how did they hollow out an entire city underneath a city? When the robot comes to the top I don’t see any sewer pipes, electrical cables or anything. Wait, what about structural integrity???there’s no way a hollow dome could hold the weight of an ENTIRE CITY and a river.

Poor Professor layton, if claire never passed away, they would so be happy together.

My goodness. They really did my man Hershel dirty in this show, he's gone through enough trauma as it is. And can we all agree that the major is the source of all of their problems in this story?
