I just saw these a few days ago and they’re pretty cool! I’m a Glad Press n Seal gal most of the time, but since silicone is so easy to clean up, I may have to get myself one of these.

This was my first time trying it out and I wasn’t sure how it would turn out being yellow to start with. I imagine that if it’s a darker color, you can probably strip it first. RIT has the recipe every color you can imagine available for free on their website.

I created my own feed from grounded oats and lentils/peas. I bake it at 210F to kill any mites before storing in an air tight container. I give also potato or apple slices and greens like dandelion, lettuce, cabbage from garden.

@@BuildingInASmallTown So far it has been working really good. I can't say 100% though since I just started a bin for breeding with 500 pin heads and don't plan on selling, but is the first time I had the majority survive to adulthood. It is mainly for my reptiles and future chickens, so I have had some experience in sustaining them. I am also currently testing a small terra cotta pot without holes and filled with water, top covered, for humidity control. I had looked into olla jars for my garden and growing high humidity epiphytes, orchids, mosses, and ferns, inside. Then had the thought that these would may be a great way to control humidity rather than a sponge or water beads as I had been using.

Is selling in the Ag building pretty profitable? I will be selling gourmet brownies this year at my state fair and I don’t know how much inventory to bring.
@BuildingInASmallTown21 күн бұрын
It was ok! Not all days were super busy. If you can chat with a similar vendor at your state fair, they maybe able to help advise the amount of inventory you might need. Each year is different though as well.

at 80 degrees, it might take up to 24 days for them to hatch. If you don't see eggs though, that would probably be the issue!

I see the headline and I think, she'll tell me where I can sell crickets. Ebay and amazon seem super saturated now. Pet stores have their offical suppliers. And nope ofc you dont mention where to sell or how to package crickets for sale or the future for cricket sales. Just lame boomer tier advice like "go slow and see if you like it".

I love mums. I planted some little 3 for $15 mums that I get from my local supermarket every year 3 years ago, and they come back bigger every year. They put on quite a show last year and are set to do the same this year. Although they are a little pest damaged this year, I'm hoping to get some beautiful flowers.
