My parents had a smart fortwo passion. I liked to think of it a motorcycle, but with 4 wheels and a tough cabin structure. the g-force is what'll get you. Crumple zone? What crumple zone? Yeah, neck will snap pretty easily in this thing. That being said, I found it ironic at 6'3", I fit better in this than many full-sized luxury cars from the 1980s. I sat in a 1981 Lincoln Continental Vi (4-door), my right knee was up against the shifter. Like, what? That's a full-sized car!!! but it did ride like a boat on a smooth current. and it handled like a boat too. I just wish I fit in those land yachts comfortably. I'm 195 lbs as well, so no excuse why I can't fit comfortably (?). I have a 32 inch inseam.

@ yeah I was surprised at how much room I had. But I fully understand it’s because there’s no backseats or much trunk space in that tiny car. Yeah people definitely fit in things differently. I was also pleasantly surprised with the room I had in the BMW i3. I’m not a tall guy, 5’ 9”.

@ I always thought the BMW i3 was cool, and is probably more comfortable than the smart fortwo. I wish range was a bit better

@@Lincolnator721 Yeah it's a lot more refined than the Smart Fortwo. They're both quirky and charming in their own ways though! The range is what always gets people. I've never seen so much backlash on a single aspect of a car I've reviewed than the range of that i3 haha. My tiktok got a lot of traffic from people hating on it.

@@HandmadeSheep34 you actually would fit. I mention headroom in the long format video under the “related video” link. There is more than 3 inches of headroom above me and I have a long torso. I think where you might have to compromise is someone’s legroom sitting behind you.

Yeah I suppose I’m just not super comfortable with the size of it on the backroads I was on for a portion of the drive. I’d prefer a smaller sized profile such as a GR86.

i work for mini cooper shop and once we had similar situation. The problem was that stryker and lock internally shorted and jammed in locked position. solution - remove all plastic trims, cut the lock and stryker with grinder and replace both parts. But your case might be different, also you can just bring the car to the dealer and their tech will find out what happened.

There should be a lock/unlock button in the glove box
