Back in college a cute neighbor girl came over. We smoked some weed, she laid down on the rug and I put this album, which she had never heard before. on the record player. Her brain basically vaporized and I had to put on some Joni Mitchell to bring her back to earth. So good.

Stephen Stills One of the most underappreciated musicians of all time. Played ALL of the instruments on the CSN first LP. Crosby & Nash called him Captain Many Hands. Clapton and Stills appeared on each of their first 2 LPS. The bass line in Clapton's Let It Rain". That's Stephen. Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, drums, percussion Stills does it all.

“Underappreciated”?! Surely you jest! He’s worshipped as a god the world over! LOL!

@@JamesFolkers I only say "underappreciated" because he is often described as an underrated guitarist. As you say he is worshipped as a god, but mainly as a guitar god. His overall musicicanship is underrated and underappreciated. I think many well meaning people confuse underrated with underapprediated.

If you haven't heard this album yet, check out 'Super Session' album with Mike Bloomfield on guitar on Side 1 and Stephen Stills playing on Side 2. Al Kooper is on vocals and keyboards. The performance by Stills is probably his best electric guitar playing, ever. Especially when he plays on 'Season of the Witch.' The album was released in 1968. A most fantastic album of music that you can hear and appreciate. Check it out!

"Marrying for love may be a bit risky, but it is so honest that God can't help but smile on it." Josh Billings "In the name of God, I, William, take you, my Ladyship Karen Ann Lee, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, forsaking all others, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, to love and to cherish. This is my solemn vow." .Boop, Thank You for Loving me! Will I Can't Fail - Robert Cray I see you work hard And you rarely crack a smile Never weep but you're not well You're the reason I can't fail I'm always by your side We"ve got a long story to tell Just don't you be afraid Somehow we'll find us a brand new way Time's treated us kind We're lucky that, we don't feel the cold The road is sometimes filled with nails Just hold on, love is strong You're the reason I can't fail Hold on Love is strong You're the reason I can't fail... . Boop, Thank You for loving this lost broken sailor. Will

Used to play this in college, saw them both back then. Clapton is so good with Stills who is totally underrated, played everything in the studio on the first CSN album. Nash called him " Captain Many Hands"

Shades of Manassas, I've always reckoned Steven Still has been very underrated as a guitarist., just listen to the first Manassas release, the double album. Agreed, the pairing of Clapton and Stills works, great solos from two masters.

Few artists “did” anything with Clapton, most were fortunate enough to be in the room doing their best while Clapton was Clapton. Stephen Stills’ voice is very sweet here though
