This is quite a cool crossing I must admit. Interesting placement of the Yodalarm at 3:28 - never seen one mounted on a footbridge before!

There's just not the space to fit any. The existence of the traffic signals (NOT Mellors, but Siemens) is a real saver here. There is room for pedestrian signals, and how they've not been put in yet is a mystery tbh

Idk, looking at the crossing on Google maps makes it look like there’s plenty of space, a wigwag can easily be put of the pathway where the bridge is, the only problem I see is the bridge on the side your on, however it’s not on the side of oncoming traffic, so a wigwag there won’t really be a necessity

I get the impression it's due to level crossing-related regulations that mandate twin red flashing lights, and the heads here have been modified accordingly.

New Beside your starting spot in Lowering 2, you came days after the strike, so 3 barriers from 2005-ish and a newer arm. Nice videos, really would like to visit this area of the WCL one day
