One of my least favorite changes in the show. In the book he couldn’t shoot because he was in mourning. Here they did it for cheap laughs because it would be funny if he was a dimwit.

Everytime I hear one of these "book purists" I realize that the show might have actually been better at telling the story. This scene was hilarious and badass at the same time and one of those things that's perfect for TV. Edmure missing because he's crying too much would be pretty pathetic to watch.

I’ve had my License since Oct, went out otr back in Jan, hit some ice my second night driving in Denver Co. and the trailer got funky, scared the shit out of me, gave up got on a plane the next morning and went home, trainer had nothing to do with it, it was my nerves getting the best of me. 6 months later, after going back to my old job, I’m now going back out on the road with a different company, was too embarrassed to show my face on Steven’s Ground again. Paid the money and did 3 weeks of trucking school for a reason, not giving up this time, mountains terrify me, snow terrifies me, but people drive it every day, just gonna power through it this time around. And not give up, giving up back in Jan has left a bad taste in my mouth ever since. Thankyou for the words of encouragement

this scene is a very good example of why the show sucks vs the books after season 2. this was supposed to be a serious scene where you see edmure's grief and his relationship with blackfish but instead they decided to make it into a sitcom.
