The only original one, yes. By the way it was built at Dornier in 1945, transferred to the US after the war, then brought back to Dornier in Germany and restored by the old Dornier employees in 1975, then exposed at the Deutsches Museum in Munique for about ten years (where I saw it) and brought again to the U.S. at the end of the 1980s.

If this is correct............there are two examples in the world of this aircraft. The Smithsonian has one also!

Wrong. There were faster machines.
@goldfing5898

Not until today. There were some world records of up to about 850 km/h, but later in the 1960s to 1980s, as far as I read. This seems to be the upper limit for piston engine planes. Turbo prop machines can reach about 900 km/h, but this is sort of a combination of piston engine and turbojet engine.

Aircraft in series production? Or just one-offs?
@goldfing5898
@goldfing5898 23 сағат бұрын
@@SchwertmaidIt's a bit hard to tell, and I'm no expert. There is an article on Wiki about fastest propeller-driven aircraft. Most of the record-breaking post-WW2 aircraft seem to have been prototypes or experimental ("X") or "modified" aircraft, so the Do 335 with its about 770 km/h and about 40 planes built was probably the fastest in series production, particularly of its time.

Hello, I just saw a news that this villa is given for free by the German state, but no one dares to take it, since it is the former owner of Adolf Hitler. for this I give it to me and I also take care of your grave, only that I am not a German citizen

It had been built in Germany at the Dornier factory (Oberpfaffenhofen) in 1945, then brought to the US by the HMS Reaper (Operation Paperclip), then in 1975/76 restored at Dornier again, then lent to Munich for about ten years, before it went to the US again.

Whatever a "brumbar" is, it is definitely not the name of that tank. The tank nickname is "Brummbär" (if your keyboard lacks umlauts, it's "Brummbaer", Engl. = "growling bear").
@generacionmarttin
@generacionmarttin 2 жыл бұрын
Actually no, Brummbär was a nickname by the allies, and probably well after the end of the war. Germans never called it like that, and never were aware of a silly name like it. Correct name is Sturmpanzer IV. If you want to be more specfici, Sturmpanzerwagen 604/16 (Alkett) sIG auf Panzer IV mit kardanischem Fahrwerk. Ordenance military number Sd.Kfz. 166 .
