To give some context, I’m new to the FJ World and I’m loving it. 2010 base 2WD Army green, white roof. The truck basically says fix me up lol. Previous owners took care of this one too btw. Got it Dec 2022 w/220k miles at the time. Since then, I’ve been slowly customizing etc. Last summer and now this summer lol. (Midwest life) Anyway I have new led light bulbs and I noticed that they are on full blast vs dim in DRL mode, so I did some research and boom I found your vid which was the best and only simple way!! Next up tho, are new head light lamps, and hopefully I don’t have to plug the DRL in for those to work but we will see. Thanks for reading tho! Hope you are still enjoying yours.

@@No_joke2024 Glad, your having fun with the fj doing mods and stuff. I unfortunately sold mine, I loved it was in the family since 2007 sold it 2023. It was a hard goodbye, but it was time. Fjs are very reliable vehicles, but some minor things started to bother me and I decided to part ways with it.

So I am by far a mechanic, I mean do not get me wrong, I still can change a tire, brake pads, wipers, a battery; however, some things just scare me. This video showed me that overthinking is my nemesis. I sat with these struts for a month before I started looking up videos. Thank you Abdullah. It went as you said. You should have shoes the trick to removing the bulb. They are difficult if not changed for a while.

Very reliable car gave me no issues!
