What's the reason for using DI eventho you plugging into a mixer vs plugging everything straight into the mixer?

There's no middle-size bass players. They're either MASSIVE or anti-food.

Is it harder to slap a six vs five string bass, I see marcus miller still plays a four string
@Jraines1123 күн бұрын
@@ontiretsemagome9154 depends on what you practice the most. I use a 4, 5 and 6…so I’ve spent enough time on each one to be comfortable with whatever I pick up. Henrick from Dirty Loops slaps effortlessly on a 6 string.

This is an excellent video. Thank you for taking the time to go through all your basses. BTW, what is the headphone you are using, and why? Thank you!

What albums/artists would you recommend with his playing?
@agajeo.kelvin15163 күн бұрын
One of his most iconic works would be Kim Burrell "Live in Concert" released in 2001. His genius was something else on that album.

This is why, as a drummer myself, i am convinced that the bass carries the groove more so than the drums. Magical stuff here, sir!!...

Hey man, nobody is teaching keybass. Im a bass player and and cause i was hood rich at the time.... i bought a Moog Sub37. Where would one who is decent on bass get decent on keybass. And not sound sooo.... 90s video game? If you know what i mean.

Loved how you do your thing and still remain "in the pocket." Drums majority of my life but crossed to the bass and I 'm enjoying it. You must play "Oh How Wonderous" by J.P. Kee. One of the most outstanding bass lines, not to mention how many times they go up half steps (key changes - I believe it's 5 or 6). Your passion can be felt as you're playing.
