@@Decodingfashion_ The title of this tutorial is "Learn Adobe InDesign in 10 Minutes." We both know that is a ridiculous statement and it is impossible to achieve. A reasonable title for this short video would be, "A Brief Overview of Getting Started with Adobe InDesign." On another matter, the use of background music in any computer-based video tutorial video is just dumb. Viewers want to latch on to every spoken word, but the music causes a big distraction. Furthermore, for those with any hearing impediment (ie: hearing loss) the background music poses an even bigger disruption to the lesson.

If you want to just know the quickest way to recolor under 50 seconds : kzbin.info7UNLkYA5a4c?si=QupbJWOm73YoDmEZ

I just want a simple way to change various colors of an object like you do in Photoshop or you can adjust the hue and saturation layer. I just want to be able to adjust some channels of an EPS file. I don't know why I have to create color swatches and all that jazz. I also would like a magic wand tool that works better in 2023 than the current one. I can't seem to get the fine tuning that I need compared to doing it in Photoshop, but I want to work in the vector file. I saw a video in illustrator CC that there was a plug-in filter that allowed you to choose channels, but is there something available in the actual app to do? Just simple hue adjustments to color channels without having to figure out a pallet,

@@Decodingfashion_ Thanks, I guess I need more in depth tutorial on that video you linked to because the problem I'm having is the graphic shares, similar colors and has a lot of pieces. So just changing one color seems to change quite a bit more than I want. In Photoshop. I could just use the magic wand and isolate a section easily. The magic wand tool in Adobe illustrator is clunky and comparison. However, I was able to just click more times with a lower tolerance for the current project and able to use the magic wand to isolate the covers of a book, not the paper of the book which was antiqued. So just spinning a color wheel around. Definitely created issues with the pages of the antique book. Also changing with the cover without isolating the covers. I just wanted to take the red -ish brown color and make it green like I did easily in Photoshop. I'm assuming I need a little more information on the video you linked to on how to isolate the color. I don't want to be changed. The artist who created the EPS has a lot of layers just to make up one book. There's a lot of layers just to make the covers when loan the pages.

Hello, I have a question, why do people always refer to other brands and take inspiration from should they start from scratch ?
@Decodingfashion_4 ай бұрын
Hi, studying other brands - is a practice of constant trend research and analysis, it gives clues of how the market/ consumers are responding and shows their buying behaviour. It is a practice of trend research, you can check the is video about trend research - kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z4HReHejiNeJbbMsi=aJX8_Lg6C9DyIubE , thank you :)

Happy to know that you are watching my videos. :) in short, start from Big Ideas , then move to seasons stories and pick up one that connects with your story the most, double click on the information that has references and go deeper with your theme that will help you reach a position where you will be able to interpret your stories. Remember that is where you should reach, where you are informed enough to make your stories, that’s why WGSN has abundant information. I’ll make a video demonstration in this :)

I'm not sure about the detergents carrying away microplastics. Polyester, like almost all plastics, is not disolved by detergents. I agree with trying to prolong its life through. I'd avoid the drier if possible for this reason. I'd also avoid synthetic fabrics in general for fire hazards. If you're like me and do a lot of workshop work, you learn how quickly those clothes can go up in flame.
@Decodingfashion_4 ай бұрын
Hi, www.plasticsoupfoundation.org/en/2019/07/microplastics-found-in-119-detergent-brands/ is one of the many reference of studies found that microplastics are components of detergents. These lifestyle habits that you practice are exactly what all of us need to believe in to slow down on our impact. Thank you for your valuable comment. :)

My learning from this video : I honestly have realized how to put the mind mapping research & mood board elements together only today so effectively. I always struggle in making effective or even decent mood boards but now I think I can do better since I have realized the mood boards elements very clearly without doubts in my mind.
