I visited back in 96' on a class hike with my junior high school. we climbed up the face of the East Ridge to get there. Not sure how to drive here we all just walked back down the hill. A fun day-trip for the summer.

hate holland america, will never sail with them again, they suck ass and will rip you off for sure! take if from a person who just paid 12,000.00 for a neptune suite, and got next to nothing. I thought this would be a fantastic Alaskan cruise. there was bad food, bad dining, no wildlife, bad weather. Never again, after a year of planning and more that 12,000 dollars on a nurses salary. Such a complete let down! Don't do it!

Nice to see the `Goat path` will be upgraded. Many lives could have been saved if this badly needed upgrade wasn`t delayed by 30 or 40 years. I will still go through the states to get to Van in the winter. While it may be quicker on clear days, when its snowing I would prefer to take 5 or 6 hrs longer and arrive safely than take a chance on being delayed 5 hrs or god forbid ,ending up in the ditch.
