@ErikBongers23 күн бұрын
A single screen was obvious, but I wondered about how the buttons work. Still not entirely sure. It's the transparent plastic layer with the silver rings around the button holes but is that 2 layers on top of each other that get pressed down, or do the buttons themselves create a conductive path? From what I can see in the video, it must be 2 plastic layers.
@xboxgamer921622 күн бұрын
its the two plastic layers with wires (ribbon connectors ) they work basically like a soft membrane keyboard.

hello i am actually having an issue since i am planning to get this case to replace it with my old one, i already know how to power the fans with the header but can you help me understand how powering the argb works do i need to have another header on my motherboard (which i don't) or it's just possible to straight plug it to the power supply (ty for this video you already cleared 3/4 of my problems with just this video)
@motazee3 ай бұрын
hello, for power, you can power the fans with your power supply unit if you have a Fan Hub or a 3-PIN or 4-PIN PWM Splitter Cable that you can connect to the motherboard header connector.

I appreciate the walkthrough on the possible HDD configurations. I've heard people say that fitting a HDD can be a problem in this case (I guess based on their specific build), but this was enough to clarify it won't be a problem for me. I'll have 2 M.2 SSD's and also a HDD. Most build videos on youtube only use SSD's these days so they completely overlook this aspect. Yours is the only video I found with it. Thank you!
@Kevin-vx3hg4 ай бұрын
Hi, does the system really need 4 fan headers on the motherboard? Or is it just the one
@motazee4 ай бұрын
Just one header on the motherboard is fine
@thesquish78783 ай бұрын
As AMotayo stated in the video the fans are actually daisy chainable. what this means is each fan as a male and a female connector. this looks like one cable having pins and one cable plugging into pins. You can connect each fan to each other with this and you will be left with one cable which can plug into the header on your motherboard. that being said if you have an AIO you can plug the fans in the same loop if they are daisy chainable. However if the pump header has any sort of RGB or lighting on it you cannot connect these to the fans you must connect them to a separate header. at least this much is true in most cases. So you only need 1 3 pin 5v argb header with a max of 2 if you want an AIO (only if the AIO has rgb) or maybe 3 if you plan on putting LED strips in your case.
@thernymous28 күн бұрын
I just bought one of these this week. I was wondering about it to, so this comment got my hopes up.. but only the wires that go to the fan led controller (argb control board) are daisy chainable, so you can plug in more than 6 things on that.. but that doesn't do anything for controlling the fans. The wires going to fan header (e.g sys_fan) are not daisy chainable. So.. am I missing something? (I tried 2-3 ways of daisy chaining.)
@motazee28 күн бұрын
@thernymous you will need a fan hub for the fans.

Hey, dude. Question. Does the 3-pin ARGB header from the MSI MagForge M100R case have to be specifically plugged into an MSI motherboard to control the RBG lights, or can I just plug it into other motherboards e.g - the 3-pin ADDR_LED on the Asrock B660M Pro Rs motherboard for the RGB to work? From a beginner builder, but thank you! 😊
