Yes, it's the industry standard, and it's annoying when you can hear the processing sound of the pitch correction and you know what these girls are capable of. That moment of Harvey when she forgot to sing, wouldn't it be more embarrassing when she forgot to sing yet the backtrack was still playing like that than if she forgot to sing and there was no backtrack? I would even proudly say, "See? No voice coming out when she forgot to sing, that's the proof of live vocal" for the second case. Have you ever listened to Chisa's and Juria's live vocals for their solo performances, anyway? If I Were A Boy, I Have Nothing, Hello, Hero, to name a few? There were flats, sharps, sometimes they sounded heavy, but they sounded raw and glorious. Their pitch corrected vocals that were uploaded on their channel (Peaches, Nobody Love, Dear Name, etc) were nowhere close to their raw vocals; I'd choose their raw vocals every single day. I'm sure it would be the same with the other girls, they would sound much better with their own authentic voices. Backtrack, especially if it's pitch corrected, does not give the best listening experience to me. Back seating their careers and choices? You sound like you don't trust that these girls can sing live by relying on their own vocal cords when they are not dancing.

@@rosieposie5852 let me get this straight, so you think when Harvey misses her cue it's better that there's a gap and no ones singing and she has to stumble into her verse part way rather then her hopping onto the back track that's already playing. You don't think that's more embarrassing and disrupts the entire performance for everyone else? That's crazy lol Too many people have too many opinions about things they don't understand. It's fine to have preferences, but don't come out here saying "they should do that they should do this" when you don't know there reasoning behind it. There's like 20 people in that room, it's not that serious.

@@whatchahowsya8688 I find this weird like people can distinguish between what’s their voice and what’s a backtrack pretty easy and yeah it’s kind of necessary on any choreo track. I don’t know any group that drops their backing vocals and does real choreo.

i think their mics are just too quiet, and singing the song louder might mess up the relaxed vibe of the song. on stage for howling, the backtrack was loud, but their mics were also loud enough to hear them clearly + it's a louder song so they can be loud if they need to.

Probably with such a busy schedule and all the performances these last couple weeks before they hit the Europe leg of the tour, they're probably managing the vocals. As much as we would love to hear everything live, they got so much to do these last months before a small break. 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺 👽👽👽👽👽👽👽
