I’m so sorry you had such a rough 2024. Being mistreated at work, trying to stick up for yourself, and then getting fired for it is very traumatic and degrading. Having your life completely derailed when you’re not ready for it is so difficult. I’m 52 now and have had to deal with toxic work environments more times than I would have expected. I can say that a better opportunity has always presented itself after each of those dark experiences. I’m excited for you to have a fresh start in Australia! We are rooting for you and look forward to hearing about your adventures in Australia. This is so awesome! I’m moving to Australia from canada permantly to start a life with my boyfriend who is from there. I realized how unhappy I am in Vancouver. British Columbia is pretty for quick trips or holidays but it’s awful to live there in my honest opinion. I’ve lived here my whole life and I’m 34 … I’ve seen heaps of changes and none for the better. Everytime I’ve been in Australia, I’ve finally felt like I belong and home. I just know it’s the right thing and I am so excited for you!!!!!! 🎉

I love audiobooks too! I'm using audiobooks this year to help me get through my classes since they're really long. I'm currently listening to lovely War by Juile Berry it's a great mix of romance historical young adult fiction and fantasy and zodiac and the gods are in this book too I'm really liking it ❤

I didn't like Legendborn either. And IMO, the second one was even worst. 🙁 I like your makeup, simple and pretty! You have beautiful skin! 😊 I need to use foundation as I have rosacea and my checks are always red. 😩🤷🏽‍♀️ Oh! And I think Billy Summers is not horror. My husband doesn't read horror either, and he read that book because of Ashlynn's and Ian's recommendations and he really liked it. It's Stephen King, so yes it has some intense themes, but I think it is not supernatural horror.

Stephen King is a great author. Not sure about that particular book tho. I would recommend the Dark Tower series. When The Wind Blows is a great story but freakishly sad...be prepared.

Hey there - I'm an author and an avid reader myself so this is right up my alley. I do some craft collabs with your mom and she thought I should tune in and check you out. I thought I was a big reader but you've got me beat! I love that you have a wide range that appeals to you. I read and write across genres and appreciate people who can weave in and out of different types of tales. I'll def be popping in on your videos to see what else you come up with in the future.

It’s hard to look at books on your shelf that you paid money for but know you’re not going to read it. Good job letting go of yours! I have several books I bought when I first started reading a couple years ago that I now know are either not the genre I like or aren’t the style I’ll like. I struggle with what to do with thriller or mystery books that did like. Am I really going to read them again since I know the plot twist or who did it? 🤷🏼‍♀️

(SPOILERS) If i remember correctly this was after when she joined the court of shadows and when cardan and his friends (nicasa and valerian) had mad her eat the fruit and made her basically remove her clothes and she wanted to make herself immune incase someone was wanting to poison her or feed her another fruit? PLS correct me if im wrong on anything, I finished the series a while back and read 2 book series since, so im sorry if i got my information wrong!!

Thanks for introducing Aggie Blum Thompson, Caz Frear, David Bell, Emma Grey. I remember those great illustrated classics. I read some of them when I was in 4th grade. The illustrations were beautiful and it was easier for me to digest the story at the time.
