An old classmate worked in some sort of repair/technical capacity for elevator company in Wyoming or Nebraska. There were times he had to use some trig and geometry that he could usually find in reference books at the Otis Elevator training center. He was naturally good at seeing connections between lines and circles and angles without being formally trained in all the definitions and theorems of geometry. Like, he would not know what you necessarily mean by alternate interior angles, for example, but he would know they were equal. Maybe not the best example, but he had this way of understanding the stuff naturally without being acquainted too much with the language of math. Would love to see what he could do with the subject of this video.
