From memory in the Napoleonic wars Congreves were British rockets. I think this is a rocket battery, possibly with fire damage? The Edinorog was a rare Russian carriage cannon. A pood is a Russian agricultural unit of measurement, and describes the weight. 1/2 pood or 1 pood. A pood is about 35 pounds. It's an 18pdr so likely really a 1/2 pood in the game. It's 1780s technology.

be understanding that these are the names of the cannons in the game. of course in real life it was Medium to short cannon, long guns and Carronade cannons. a long with some small varients of iron or brass. but in the game the developers made congreves, navys, bloomfields, longs, mediums and carros, and yes poods. none that do what they really did in real life.

@@RommelsAsparagus um it is. only because they game will reset soon. exact date is unkown. but it will be wiped. players dont lose any XP. due to everyone waiting the game does not have a lot of players at the moment but still lots of content going around.

its is just this season of the game. a new season will start in about 3 weeks or so. then the game will be different. and maybe easier to play. make sure to join a clan that knows what they are doing and you grow up fast.

to be honest i actually felt bad. you guy lost some good ships in the worst way. and for you to get leak sunk which cost you the battle is never fun. please tell your clan members to not stop playing the game because of one very unlucky lose. and the Santisima that you sunk was Gold Rare wood.

this new season has changed a lot of things. LIVE OAK / WHITE OAK builds are still good. but Live oak/ mohogany is a bit more armour. bermuda/bermuda is better for speed.

yes we are on the f2p server now. the war server is dead for the most part. right now we are obviously in spain.

f2p resets money but not so much exp any more

@@aceous99 it resets everything except for your rank. once you get to top rank they give you a chest with 5 slots that you can save some things from the season and take to the next season, like Wood, permits, books, mods. but no money. if they continue to keep things the way they are. the game might actually thrive a bit more.

I was not conserving ammo, I was so busy calling the battle that I honestly didnt shoot much. I re watched the video and can see how it looks like i was. It is a problem i have of calling and watching what everyone else is doing so i dont shoot as much. also i save the shot for stern or bow shots.

@@Rook2299well . . . .you aren’t wrong! So I’ve been in for about 2 or so weeks. Been doing quite good in a Surprise. Till today when I took the sails off an LGV then got too close by accident and she boarded me and I disengaged. Then bad wind and poor control by me she boarded me again. I tried to disengage again. That was end of my Surprise that I spent loads on n she had a gold ingot 4 Pearl necklaces and some tobacco 🫣

it makes for a more interesting fight. you need to watch what you are doing while watching others around you and what they are doing more. its fun but cause you dont need to worry about your side as much as u used to. yes its a bit powerfull.
