I am a PC guy. Here's a cheat code: Try mapping your markers ("locators") so you won't have to physically mouse-click. I have done this for the past 10 or so years. 1. Insert markers wherever you need them, then rename them (right-click) accordingly. 2. For location markers, using my (Quarty) keyboard's num. pad, I typically key-map: * / and * (respectively) - for the Start and end of the song; * . and 0 - for the Intro and outro * #1-3 - for my 1st, 2nd, 3rd...Verses; * #4-6 - for Hooks * #7-8 - for Choruses 3. If you don't have as many verses, hooks, or choruses, just rename the Marker to, say, Bridge, Vamp...etc. and key map it to whatever avail num. pad . I just like having my 1st, 2nd, 3rd Verses on from #1-3 (and so on) b/c it's easy for me to remember whichever set of numbers are for whatever specific things. 4. Also, I use the main keyboard number zone to key map my busses. So, #1 is for my Lvox; #2 is for my Bgvs; #3 is for All instr. (other than bass); #4 is for Bass: #5 is for Drms...ect, Just makes it so much easier to mute (meaning turn off that channel) whichever chanel you want to take out of the mix. I am sure you could do so many different key bindings using a Mac to, say, solo each chanel you depress rather than just simply turning off that channel. UPDATE: I forgot to mention that I also key-map the 'location/marker' button (upper center-right area of Arrangement view) to the tilde (~) symbol on my keyboard for easy location inserts w/o having to mouse click. Hope this helps. Blessings 🙏🏾🎶 Hymn

Thank you! I had been loading a default "set" then deleting the tracks I didn't need. I didn't realize there was a "set as default" for all tracks! No more clipping during live performances!

just shows one of the secrets to a good mix is good production and recording. cause this sounds so good before the main mix

@@giordash dude this has been driving me crazy for 3 days haha. WHICH SONG IS IT?! None sound particularly programmed (which is tough). I had a feeling Debbie Downer was, but the hats in Death Wish sounds V real. That’s usually the dead giveaway. Can’t wait for the deep dive.

@@CleanCutAudio I’m planning another deep dive on the track with real drums soon so, you will eventually know!

Awesome walkthrough! Thanks so much for taking the time to do it. The guitars on this track absolutely rip. Please consider doing an in-depth tutorial on how you tweaked the amp sims to sound so good.
@giordash Жыл бұрын
Thanks Mike! I appreciate the kind words. Good call! There’s nothing too special about the settings on the amp sims; I more so attribute the tones to the guitars themselves. Very much worth a video all things considered tho! Thanks for the reco! 🙏

Can you do a deep dive of “U turn me on (but U give me depression)”? That was my first introduction to lolo and the production of that song is top notch imo and I would love to learn how you guys produced it!
