Bit damp at times, wasn't it! Nevertheless, an enjoyable weekend. I've only had time to put one short video from the weekend on KZbin so far, but more will follow as time permits...

I was lucky enough to be on that train, you managed to get me a couple of times, once when I was in the second open coach as we crossed the road into Harbour Stn and then when 143 was heading to the water tower for a drink. I was wearing a white top and had my Older Brother (now carriage works boss) with me as my guest (I was the sponsor not him) a most enjoyable day throughout.

I have to ask. Tornado is a fairly new locomotive that's been built to look like Scott (intentionally or not) Where does his alleged fame come from? Ps I don't mean to sound cynical. Tornado is a great engine.
@MHStudioProductions3 жыл бұрын
Tornados main claim to fame is that it was the first new build steam locomotive in the UK since the end of BR Steam. It’s also an A1 class locomotive - none of which survived into preservation

I don't know much about Tornado, and as for Scott, it's wonderful to see, after all he's been through, that the public are giving him the respect he deserves (trespassing idiots excluded of course)

Anyone know when Welsh poney is getting her name plates fitted
@MHStudioProductions4 жыл бұрын
James Hardy Unconfirmed at the moment. They were hoping for Vintage Weekend this year, but that has been cancelled and replaced by a ‘Covid-Secure’ Bygones Weekend. Might still happen then as details have yet to be published

I'm glad I watched this. But my holiday on the go-ahead is the SVR. I might try to get to the Ffestiniog Railway maybe one or two years down the line.

Thank you! Keep up the excellent work on your channel! A lot of people have commented how a lot of shots could be drone shots - a big well done to the layouts owners for making that effect possible! Link to their blog here: bronhebog.blogspot.com/

It’s a great layout. We saw it at Dinas at the exhibition but the camera makes it look different somehow. I expect the mind remembers just some aspects. Did you film the other layouts that were there?

The great thing about steam engines is that they are just coal, water and metal and parts can be replaced giving them a very long life. I'm sure the engine will be back!

Very good and worthwhile; I always find it a little surreal when Network Rail trains work on heritage lines, but that's the kind of thing that makes life interesting!
