Hot sticky mid-summer night in the 70s… It was payday with the money burning a hole in my pocket… heading through town in my 1977 Firebird gas just topped off windows down and this song playing at full-volume on my pioneer car stereo with an amplified EQ unit. Mmmmmm nice memory!

Ridiculous that this doesn't have more attention on KZbin. This song and album is absolutely incredible. Some of the heaviest music in 1969

I remember seeing them when they opened for Kiss around 75' and then again around 79' when Leslie West opened for them. "Fool for the City" was a rock anthem. Great live performers.

My soon to be wife (we've been married for 51 years now) saw them in 1971 at the Stables in Lansing Michigan just after this was recorded in Chicago. They were the BEST!

I still have my copy of this album, I spent a lot of time playin’ harp back then, it was my ticket into a band where I eventually picked up bass and guitar, so many great memories of youth!

Junior high school in the latter 70’s. I had this album and the typical console stereo. Turn table. Eight track. Am/fm. And head phones with a cable stretching to the other side of the room . Late on a School night I would be up jamming to this…

One of my favorite bands. And this was their best lineup. Yeah i prefer Laurie Wisefield over Ted Turner,i think he is a better guitarplayer, songwriter and backup singer.

I from Windsor and the frost were one of my favorite Detroit bands. Detroit annd Michigan was the center of great rock bands with a edge from 1965 to 1875.

She asked me maybe I would share her sorrow About the men that tried to treat her wrong Though just a baby A waiting her tomorrow It's rock me baby, rock me baby All night long! She needs an answer to her confusion Someone to guide her with tenderness But when she's asking for a solution All that she gets You know it's something like this I don't know where we come from... I don't know where we're going to... But if all of this should have a reason We would be the last to know So let's just hope there is a promised land Hang on till then as best you can Everybody's ills you know it Fills her with compassion That's why she tries To save the world alone She helps the needy in her own fashion And tries to give them all her own She needs an answer to her confusion Someone to guide her with tenderness But when she's asking for a solution All that she gets, you know, is Something like this I don't know where we come from... I don't know where we're going to...
