I still remember the first time I heard Pastor Steve preach at Calvary in 2008, he taught on the book of Jonah. I memorized the key verse: Jonah 4:4 Is it right for you to be angry. 🙂

I have spent the past 9 years of being a pastor battling intense emotions of inadequacy and insecurity. It is amazing to me that God continues to use me in spite of my shortcomings 😏

I feel that there may be an unwritten list of authorized hobbies and interests for pastors. And even others may go as far to say hobbies are opportunities to be "friends with the world" or promote worldly behavior. What say you Doc?

Hey Brother Saul! I’d say most hobbies are ways that can serve to engage with those outside of the church. The list is exhaustive because God has uniquely made us all.
