still get goosebumps listening to this. the fragility and delicacy in handling each expressive line yet together with the piano it is still so powerful without overwhelming each other. i love how both instruments are so important in balancing each other out and leaning on each other.

All of 1) Robsrt, 2) Clars, 3) Johannes poured into this composifion of the elder statesman of the 3. Then poured back out to us as completly as can be sime 2 centuries. Life on a VERY high dimensional plane. Deep persinal thanks to the organizers. .This American here says "Vive l'Europe unie!" P.l.e.a.s.e ... for our sakes, too.. And beyond thanks to our immortal Trio. And not least to a contemporary duo in possessiin if what Stendhal.called in *The Red and the Black" : "Le feu sacré." Mzrk (Arizona usa)

I'm playing this at the moment and really enjoying it.. This is a really lovely performance indeed. The 'key' to this piece haha is the relationship with the piano and really blending together which is pretty awesome here.. :)

I wonder what make of oboe Herr Mayer plays. I didn't get a close look, but it sounds like it might be a Hans Kreul rather than a Lorée. I play a Hans Kreul myself and have always loved its rich dark sound, just a little thicker than most Lorées I've heard.

The piece is just tearing one's heart out and this rendition by Albrecht Mayer and Hélène Grimaud is superbly exquisite. Of course, I could do without the commercials which rudely interrupt the piece, but this is small price to pay for the joy. Thanks for uploading.
