So its a bit weird, but "apple of my eye" is an old English term for the pupil. The modern use is essentially saying "I cherish you so much that I cant take my eyes off you", both in romantic and plutonic uses. Hope this explains why this weird phrase means "I love you"

God, I remember watching the show. I don’t remember much about it. All I remember is the school scenes and like what are the blonde kids with stuffed into a locker but other than that I think the show is a little forgettable, especially with the time it came out with invincible, coming out at the time And by the time the show is coming out I was overgrowing. The whole superheroes are my life thing and I got into the more moody shows like The Walking Dead supernatural arcane, and stuff like that, but I definitely will rewatch the show to see if I still like it and if I do, I’ll watch theentire series

Doyle and Desplat should not be that high. Yes, pt 2 has some decent entries, but my take is they should be impactful and you should remember them. Pt. 1 just consists of very short dramatic sequences. There is hardly a theme. And it’s really quiet. HBP, PoA and PS is in a class of their own. OotP is decent, GF has some nice string arrangements and all, but it breaks a lot from the other scores. If you name a theme after Voldemort you would want to remember it. As said, pt 2 is also fine with Lilys theme. But Desplat is not really making a coherent score either. CS is very low. Myrtle gets her own theme as well as the spiders and Fawkes. In the bottom is pt 1. Yes, Lovegood, Snape to Malfoy Mannor and Obliviviate all exists. But they don’t make it a coherent soundtrack. The movie is dialogue driven. And silent sequences also speak. The soundtrack itself isn’t really fun to listen to. Then I’d rather have the repeated tracks of PS that is basically what you get from CS.

I think, without understanding who Rudyard Kipling was, then you will never really understand the motivations. Kipling was the poet of Empire. Both he and his son were very keen to get into the fight.
