The author read this man’s ’the rules of writing a murder mystery’, saw that one of the ‘rules’ was to not have a Chinese hero or something like that and decided her heroines would be a insecure Chinese girl who gets tired of everyone’s crap from the 5 or something book and a lesbian teenager with autism and adhd

I literally read the mindfuck series in 2 1/2 days and I read it at night and I usually don’t like to read heavy topics at night but I just couldn’t get it out of my head. It’s VERY dark but I was just so enraptured in the world. Talk about mind blowing, sheesh
