Welcome!! What are you currently a Free Spender 😃 becoming a Conscious Spender or a frugal becoming a Conscious Spender?
@FIRE_DrNinjaTurtle7 күн бұрын
I am more of a conscious spender. I am a minimalist so I only spend on things I use frequently and I do not spend on stuff that just takes up space. This does conflict with my wife who wants stuff. We are trying to balance it out
@MoneyConversations-pm6fs7 күн бұрын
💯 Minimalism will force you to prioritize your spending.

🤔 I don't eat out (food allergies). I don't drink or go for drinks. I always have a budget. I don't eat sugar...so less stops & impulse shopping. I add water to soaps, sauces & anything in a container to make sure I get the last drop!!! I use Dawn original as my laundry spot spray too!I don't buy "new".... I buy thrift & second-hand when I need to replace items. I don't follow trends. I always use the delicate cycle on cold with laundry soap for cold water. I hang my clothes between wears. I wash ziplock bags with my dishes. I eat nuts and fruit as snacks, not baked goods because of allergies. I also always pack a lunch & snacks for lunch or any time I travel. I always take coffee from home in my travel mug.

New Subscriber. Good video, sensible tips. You are right most of us don't wash our clothes after only one wear. I have a chair in my bedroom and a rack on the back of the door that holds single wear clothing. Washed after 2-3 times, depending on the time of year. In the warm seasons you sweat more so you do wash more frequent in summer months. I reuse zip lock bags and foil, milk bags and glass jars. Vinegar is a staple, we use it for so many purposes. From cleaning meat and cutting boards to a rinse agent for laundry. Try putting a capful or two into your dish detergent especially if you buy the cheap dollar store brands, helps to degrease and prevent odours. Use it as a descaler for kettles and coffee machines. Combine it with baking soda to keep your sink drains clear and prevent clogs. Do laundry at night, at low cost energy times. Much love from Canada. 🇨🇦

You are probably doing all the things weare already doing. Not buying name brands when possible. Buying what's on sale in the circular that rolls out in the middle of the week. Using coupon apps...I looked back in my old budget book from 2019 and i am spending double them amount i used to be able to shop for groceries....😢 TFS❤
