I looked at an American middle school final exam from 1908. I'd estimate 3-4 years of scholarity has been lost since. Do the math. This is for distraction not education. I'm old enough to enjoy some doses of distraction. Life goes on.

Laine has become a figure both on and off the ice he's found a place and a platform with an acceptable audience to be the best he can be and people who are seeking these valuable resources.

this is nice and all. but these kids are screwed, the world is bad, and getting worse. they deserve to be anxious and scared, the future is completely emtpy for them. Our economic system is ruining all our lives. these stop gap measures arent doing anything fundamentally

This video makes me discover Patrick Laine to a totally new level. More than Paul Byron that to me, was more of a down to earth guy. Frankly I’m happy I came to know this side of himself.

I misjudged Patrik Laine for many years, thinking he was aloof and dispassionate. Loving everything I've seen from him since he became a Hab (on and off the ice). Hoping we can find a way to keep him around after next year.

It's just part of being a Montreal Canadien. Throughout the decades there has always been deep community ties between the city and the players.

Studies are pouring out showing the causal link between cyclical solar activity and cardiac and psychological health, as well as for violence and greater peace. We're in a phase of increasing negative health. Gotta dig in to get through.

This is great. I study anxiety through Lacan. His theory shows that there are six different types of anxiety. There are also tricks to counteract them. Not getting too high or low is important, but also knowing your passion style is important you can’t just look at the negative you have to look at the positives also.

being a multimillionaire or eventually being married to one will ease a lot of mental health, anxiety and stress. Spare me a little about my skepticism here but i am calling out the grift.

There are plenty of millionaires that don't focus their energy on something so positive for a community, because they don't have to. Maybe go find something else to attack because this ain't it.
