The media dullness of their minds is complete. I've never come across a substantial, comprehensive modern media program or accessible journalistic inquiry as to why the principle of modesty disappeared from our world in a way that may somehow be akin to a dumpster fire! Someone is going to have to write a series of really, super gimmicky books to even dredge up the subject enough because it has been in a void for so long. A person who has spent substantial time solo, applying brainpower, to examine scriptural writings (all faiths) will find the principle fully, forcefully revealed. Scriptural writers realized modesty as an essential underlying pillar of social structure, the living principle reinforcing almost every human civilization advancement. Most people take at least a minor interest in the appearnce clothing gives us. Take a few minutes to think hard as to why that is. Of course you will find almost no one to discuss your thinking, or any realizations, with! Modesty, as a consciously thought about subject was put out in the trash can long before plastic trash bags become unbiguous! It's as if the rise of our now extraordinary sanitation practices, institutions and comprehensive infrastructure so shaded the priciple of modesty that it killed it. Of couse not! But that is how it feels to one such as me who has found clear, almost astonishing, remnants of modesty as a subject in hoards of 19th century literature, newspaper columns, sermons, even in advertising! Benjamin Franklin's autobiography gives wry observations about modesty. It's clear from his writing that modesty was a daily subject, readily, frequently, discussed. Sadly his writing imply he never dreamt it would be vanquished, submerged, drown in future America! The so called modern CONservative "church" movements, phew, they are clueless!
