That's the great part about America, Ryan. So many different typs of landscape, weather, people, etc, etc. My only concern is the further North you head, the colder it's gonna get come Jan/Feb/March. I'm talking severe snow and ice. I don't think you've ever lived in those conditions. I'm in NY, so as a fellow Uber eats driver let me tell you once the Winter kicks in you really might want to head back to Florida. Speaking of Tennessee, Nashville is one of the most popular cities right now in America. Lots of people have moved there. I also think you'll have a good chance of getting laid there. So many drunk, young country bumpkins out and about. Have fun! P.S. Car jacking is a real thing right now across the country, especially gig workers. Please stay alert. A lot of times they will have 2 cars and box you in let's say getting off a highway or perhaps at a red light/stop sign. The suspects are usually black and/or hispanics. Just saying. Don't be afraid to profile people. Might save your life someday.

If you like this lifestyle, then you might as well take some classes to get a CDL license and become an over the road truck driver. You can drive 6 months out of the year, while living in a big truck and then go live in Uganda for 6 months. When you come back to the US, you can find another truck driving job the second day you are back.
@magamaga1827Күн бұрын
Agree. I also do gig work full time and eventually you will put a lot of money back into fixing the car where it's just not worth it finacially anymore. The further North he heads, the tougher the terrain will become (like climbing hills) and the stress on the car will increase.

Sad to see where Ryan is in life in 2024 but also where he is in his youtube career..... I remember watching Ryan and the boundless journey a decade ago with his girlfriend in Japan, him visiting his dad, traveling around and thinking he was going to be a huge deal in the youtube/internet celebrity game. He should be where Paolo from Japan is right now, I don't think Ryan realized he could've been making MILLIONS of $$$ had he kept up with what he was doing before instead of doing delivery work. Does anybody know what happened that changed Ryan from a regular guy that was interesting to watch, to someone that became so bitter at the world?

Eight or so years ago you talked about how you had spent the previous decade working multiple jobs to bring in a good income, and had been building up a good spread of long and short term investments. Is this something you've continued, or are you saving up to support yourself for a few years, spending it, then saving up again? I ask since at that time you were not working and were unsure if you would ever need to work again

Hi, Ryan! I have so many things I wish I had time to write here for you 👋You’re basically living my nightmare… I’m almost 30, traveling for 8 years, make money online, invest as much as I can (I already have a home in my country paid for by me, thank god I don’t live in the US), and my fear is that I may need to go back to “normal” jobs when I’m old because I can’t afford to live in Asia anymore or something like that. I was watching you in Japan since before I started traveling, completely skipped your Africa chapter, just checking from time to time to see how you’re doing, and now since you’re back in Florida I’m watching every episode. I wish you all the best, and I hope to learn from your experiences.
