Yes. That sounds right. Have you checked that the firing order is right? I have about 13 degrees advance. Have you tried to put the cylinder number one to top dead center, then put the distributor on number one and then adjust a little bit of advance. I measured the tdc with dial indicator to get it right.

Please help. I did - the 1 piston on the high end with compression. Timing chain wheels marks convergent. Distributor on the 1 cylinder, right?

Yes. Ignition timing was way off. Adjusted it and got in running.
