Im an old timer and ive seen and heard Mr, Estes many times, solo and with The Estes Band But, I havent really heard him for a while, until I looked him up tonight. I saw an old friend who had found his voice and on the journey from Calvin Cole to beautiful songs like this, I hope a lot of folks get to see this performance and here thes lyrics delivered so effortlessly

This sounds so good. It sounds like something Ray Manzarek would compose. Our campus used to have some sort of harpsichord and I'd bang around on it from time to time. Wasn't very loud. To me it had the sound of a Cuban tres, so I'd practice guajeos to a song I knew.

What happened at Blair Mountain was a disgrace and an injustice to everything this country pretends to stand for. Corporations and the government have censored this from school textbooks and made sure it was never taught so that the American youth would be obedient to the current order. When unions take up arms again, they will do it a hundred times over. They will kill every single striking worker until their fascism sees no end. American, you live in a dictatorship, and the dictator is capitalism.

I just bought this CD used (in December 2022) and I truly hope the song 'All the Pretty Little Horses' will sound as I remember it - one of the most beautiful lullabies I've ever heard sung - by Miranda.

Hola ppl, Very nice song for a very sad day in our Nations history. Glad to hear Allen's music again. Beentown is quite a place. I hail from Fl now but was born and raised in the Boston area. I will say that there was not much in the Hub area to rival Allen and the Estes Boys style of music in the 70's. Especially in the smaller venues... they could grip an audience and make a Pub come alive. Entire band were very all skilled professionals and their stage sound was phenomenal. miss those days but music lives on in all of us and everything we do so, be happy n safe, peace to you all

We I first heard this song, I thought what is missing is a mournful fiddle, on the album I just bout it was added. Kids today don’t understand the price we paid in lives treasure to get where we are today.

Kids today don’t understand because they aren’t taught. They’re going to go through the same struggles, if not worse with how all-encompassing multi trillion dollar corporations keep amassing power. It’s going to be bad unless there’s change. Oppression is in the roots of capitalism.

i don't know if this dear lady is a lesbian but many ladies of the harpsichord were not availiable for mariage all their lifes and living with their female notulists (eh, wanda landowska) or maried by cultural habit with lladies on the side (in secret) thats not a bad thing it makes me very happy only the times these women were livingh in were not that forgiving sadly enough and for a bunch of therm we havve to guess their sexuality but for wanda in the then new age groups that she used tyo frequent being gay was rather the norm than an exeption it was also hippy culture 50 years before hippy culture.existed! complete with free sex and nature love.
