Truck is still running however just last year I had to replace the starter and alternator. Still all in all wayyyy cheaper than buying a new 450 and not having to deal with Def make it worth it. I try to be here and support people like yourself. The feeling of accomplishment is indescribable!!! Good Luck!!!!

nah looked around and no blood sucking lawyer was interested. I needed a specialized lawyer and there's only 2 of those in Tx "administrative lawyer" or something like that. anyways The city called a year later to give me credit (about $600). They also requested that i take down these videos...

I lost all respect and trust in the dealership when they couldn't even bolt on my skid plates (lost my bolts) after an oil change. Not to mention left it leaking from the filter. And I had to pay close to 200 for this. They way prices r right now, I would say minimum in the $300 range to 3k to replace the whole ac system. Dealerships don't fix anything they just replace everything because in the end you're the 1 stuck with the bill.

To do this cab on: I would recommend setting aside up to 6 months or so. It's a big project because of accessibility and such. The other option is to pull the cab and you can do it in a month or maybe even a week or 2 if you're good. The downside is you need something to lift the cab and the extra floor space and so on.
@XV_TV
@XV_TV Жыл бұрын
Honestly I think I could have done it in a few weeks. Recording everything made it more time consuming. Camera overheating, out of memory, positioning, etc. But yeah if I had the equipment to remove the cab things could have been WAY EASIER.

@XV_TV
@XV_TV 2 жыл бұрын
Mine has a clicking/ tapping sound. It's always had it. I believe this is "normal" . It's had a rattling, but that was because the dealership left the skid plate covers loose/ without bolts. That was the first and last time I took it to someone else to work on it.

@@XV_TV Thanks. that makes me feel a little better.I’ve only had it about a yr now. It’s never been off road it’s immaculate, A few months back a idiot run a stop sign and mashed my bumper and headlights. The body shop said this truck don’t have no rust anywhere, that was great news. it don’t burn oil r smoke got plenty of power. Just that damn tapping noise. My brother had a old Jeep type yrs ago and I always liked them so I bought this one a lot more luxury compared to those for sure they were like driving a tractor.. I baby it plan to keep it for a good while.

Would this cause the fan clutch to be loud when engaged? Was making a loud noise like a bud shifting when old fan clutch was on. Put a brand new fan clutch and orginal blades and still same noise when engaged. I’m thinking the blades are bad since they are 15 years old with 350k on them . Any ideas?

@XV_TV

I'm gonna call it the "oil purge cap" since it's sole purpose is to drain the oil in the filter. Mine eventually didn't come off so I plan on replacing it with a cap that has a lever built in to the cap so you can just drain it without getting all messy

Hey -- maybe or maybe not but here’s my story -- I’m lived in a home alone 4br no grass and I took short 4-8 mins showers . California is very tight on water they even say on tv . Well I would get highwater bill and electric and gas .... but funny thing was neighbore in back and side one of them was taking my water the other my electric ... how I know is u can hear the water through the plumbing when it’s on ... and it would turn on at odd hours .. my electric there was a fence where the electric wire was attached to a fenced light that never worked ... till I noticed my bill always way more little by little ... so I just complained to city water bill stoped and so did my electric bill ... u know how since I didn’t want to fight my neighborehood. I just cut electric off for days then weeks same with water I would manually cut off water .. neighbores started throwing things in my backyard or like my car would have issues ... so think of neighbors first ... and they were freindly kind . But that’s why lol I’m born mexican citizen... but neighbors weren’t so maybe like me someone dug a pipe under or to the side of home and tapped it to a sprinkler line or main ... the next door neighbor tapped to the side of my house for the electric since the one side had electric wire to a lamp on fence .. sad and wierd but true .. god bless man
@XV_TV
@XV_TV 2 жыл бұрын
That's crazy!! Yeah I thought about it, and would be possible if i had neighbors. I'm at a deadend. there's only one house next to mine and it's a business where they house special needs people. I asked around since i get along with all my neighbors, and a few did mention a little higher than usual bills but not as outrageous as mine (So like most people, they just paid). The only source of water outside the house is within view of the Ring cam, and nobody has messed with it. Wait until i finish with part II The city has NO ANSWERS... Take care

Mines where two neighbors I had a corner house and property behind took water ... and next door left side took electric lol the right was a desert lot ... I would experience electrical flashes when ever left side neighbor worked in his garage .... and early morning I would hear running water - the back neighbore I would hear the plumbing of water rushing but I lived alone the sprinklers never worked .. some times at nite I would hear a generator like pump ... I moved but I’m sure new home owners got experience that sooner or later lol ... my electric bill was so high like 500 when normal years back was like 90-100 ... company said I used a lot that month . But i was on vacation, glad im gone. Some people believe the home owner doesn’t keep close eye on there bills .. specially being on a budget lol ... well have a good one that’s my experience on that mine was actual neighbor lol ✌️😇

Thank you for taking the diligence and shining light on an obvious problem. I just received my first extremely high water bill and they are going to "send someone to check" I know they are going to say there is a leak, eventhough there is no evidence of that in or around the house.
@XV_TV
@XV_TV 2 жыл бұрын
A city water employee told me "were you here when they checked it? Because I can guarantee they didn't if you weren't present. The office is very disorganized and they mess up a lot." That was a guy I stopped while he was driving around the neighborhood. As you can tell by the recordings, the lady in charge says several times "I don't know" and has all her info wrong, confirming what that employee said.
